The primary focus of DanceWorks has always been to teach and nurture a love of dance through our recreational classes, competition lines, pre-school program and ballet curriculum. DanceWorks continues to inspire, motivate, and challenge all aspiring dancers in achieving their goals.

We’re back to class next week, but DanceWorks dancers have been hard at work this summer outside of the studio! We’re so proud of our dancers for taking on new opportunities, training for the next level, prioritizing their personal growth, and working hard in new environments.

We encourage outside training for several reasons including the following:
- Provides growth in different styles and learning from new/different instructors: expands knowledge and training
- To get dancers in new environments, especially ones linked to their future goals (like college dance teams/programs)
- Allows dancers to pursue their passion through different avenues
- Provides opportunities for new feedback/corrections/ techniques
- Allows dancers to meet new people and be motivated by these individuals

Our Senior Company worked hard over the long weekend with guest instructor Sloan-Taylor Argumosa on their jazz dance. Thank you so much for joining us!! These girls are lucky to have a fresh and challenging routine to push themselves with this season! We can’t wait to get to work and make the vision come alive 🤍

Our annual movie night fundraiser was so much fun! We watched space jam in honor of our space theme production this season and raised $649 for our props and accessories 💫👽💚🫯
