Adam Johnson is a four-time Hermosa Beach Open champion, winning titles in 1991, 1995, 1997 and 1998. He also added a third-place finish in 1990, a second in 1992, and two fourth-place finishes, building one of the strongest records in the event’s history. Known as one of the most accomplished players, Johnson won 44 professional beach volleyball titles and captured the 1994 King of the Beach crown. He also finished fifth at the 1999 Beach Volleyball World Championships and served as a United States Olympic alternate in 2000. Johnson was inducted into the CBVA Beach Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2012.

Watching these athletes close out their chapters at the NCAA Beach Volleyball Division I tournament this past weekend was such a proud moment. Reaching this stage is a rare and incredible accomplishment that very few ever achieve.
A huge congratulations to:
– Finishing an outstanding career at UT as a First Team All-American.
– Capping off a historic run with the UT squad finishing in 3rd place.
