The Lakeway Lakers summer swim team began in 2003 when the Lakeway Swim Center first opened. Our team is operated by volunteers and is completely self-funded.
For the past decade, we've introduced over a thousand children in our community to the wonderful sport of swimming. Many of our swimmers have gone on to be successful USA Swimming, high school, and collegiate athletes, and many have competed at Junior Nationals, Nationals, and even the Olympic Trials. Registration for the upcoming summer season is now open and will continue until we reach our enro

Lakers~ Team pictures are scheduled for this Friday, June 5th at 9 am. This will be in place of practice. Please arrive in your team suit by 9.
Team Photo this Friday - We are going to take a team photo this Friday, June 5th at 9am. This will be INSTEAD of your normal practice time. To confirm, ALL groups should show up at the Swim Center at 9am this Friday, June 5th in their team suit (it's fine if you don't have one) for a team photo.
Billy Cano is a Lakers dad and an exceptional photographer so he has graciously agreed to take this photo for us--many of you will remember the photos he captured of so many swimmers last year. He's amazing!
There is no cost for the team photo. We will give everyone a copy at the end of the season.
We will provide the opportunity for individual photos for an additional cost. More details to be provided later this week

Important update for Lakeway Lakers families!
Due to anticipated rain and cold on Friday, we've made the tough call to reschedule our Intrasquad Meet.
We're moving it to Monday, May 4 — same location, same timeline:
Lakeway Swim Center
Swimmers arrive 4:45pm
Meet starts 5:30pm
Done by 7:00pm
We know this may affect some families, and we truly appreciate your flexibility. Here's what you need to do before Friday at 6:00pm.
Couldn't come Friday but can make Monday? Log in and register your swimmer(s).
Were signed up for Friday but can no longer attend? Update your swimmer's status to "not attending."
Adjust relay availability as needed.
We know this is a bummer for some swimmers, and we're so grateful for your understanding. Can't wait to see everyone at a safe, fun first meet of the season on Monday!
