Great Program last night. Scot Grosman of the Jeffco Parks and Open Spaces talked about the Peaks to Plains Trail ( now called the Clear Creek Trail Project) and how all the stakeholders, of which the GPoR is one since 2012, have helped to make the Canyon one of the highest use parks on the front range. Though progress and change have limited Prospectors access over the years, we still continue to have a voice in the project to insure Prospectors will continue to have access and preserve some of the historical culture of the Canyon. Thanks Scot, for a great job..!⛏️

His new shop is the only full time prospecting shop we now have in Denver, so drop in and see him for any of your needs. Hope everyone can join us on March 18 at 7pm for our next meeting. Lee Miska, a past Club President, would like to remind everyone that gold was at a mere $276 an ounce in 2001. It is now over $2500 an ounce..! Think about that.!!

Great presentation at the Wednesday Club meeting by Jay Lesser. Jay is doing some great work and talked about his very innovative process for removal of toxic materials from our tailing piles and how he is able to clean them up and recover values to boot. Not a cheap process but a very effective one. Way to go Jay..!!!
