Businesses and communities rely on these lands to thrive. You can make a crucial decision that will determine the future of our economy and our outdoors.

Yes - Congress is actively planning to sell 100,000 acres of our Public Lands. Read Wes Siler’s article on how the GOP altered the budget rules to not include lost revenue that the lands generate, in their calculation for the sale. So it only looks like a pile of money, but that doesn’t include the millions of dollars lost in revenue generated by those lands for local communities, the state and federal government - which is all of us.

Then watch the YOUTube clip of CO Rep Joe Neguse trying to get the GOP members of the committee to debate the pros and cons of the resolution. Not a person would speak. Not even Rep Jim Jordan of Ohio.

Our lands being sold without debate, in the middle of the night, no one willing to talk about it or take credit for doing it all so the American people don’t notice.

My industry and most all others are bracing for for the impact of this nonsense decision. There is nothing positive here. To grow a manufacturing base in America is highly valuable goal that takes years of highly coordinated actions between the private and public sectors. This is a wrecking ball, a very dumb one.
