Two days of great weather greeted the field, with a storm rolling through during the final round. Darrin Hall opened with a 68 to grab the first round lead, and after 36 holes he and Jay Livsey stood tied at 135.

Jay opened his round with a birdie on the first hole while Darrin opened with a par. Darrin bogeyed the second. They traded again on the third, Jay with a bogey, Darrin with a birdie. Then, with the storm at its worst, Jay birdied the fourth while Darrin bogeyed. Jay played the rest of the front nine even par while Darrin bogeyed six and eight around a birdie on seven. Jay made the turn at one under to Darrin’s two over. Darrin opened the back nine with back to back bogeys on ten and eleven. Jay added to his lead with three straight birdies on eleven, twelve, and thirteen. Darrin’s birdie on fourteen felt like he may make a charge at Jay but instead, he parred the remainder of the back nine. Jay bogeyed sixteen coming in and parred the last two to close with a three under 68, six shots clear of Hall’s 74. Jay won his second Club Championship with a 10 under 203 total and six shot victory.

3rd Flight: Richard Havey, 157 (15 over)
4th Flight: Kevin Pfister, NET 140 (2 under)

Another Lakewood Cup is in the books! 🏆

Saturday's foursome matches went to the Seniors, 16.5 to 13.5, and that turned out to be the only session they'd win all weekend. The Juniors flipped the script in fourball, taking that session 20 to 10 and pushing the overall score to 33.5 to 26.5 heading into Sunday.

Singles didn't slow them down either. The Juniors ran the table, winning that session 40.5 to 19.5 to close out the 2026 Lakewood Cup with a final score of 74 to 46.

That makes it three Lakewood Cups in a row for the Junior Team. The Seniors will be looking to end that streak next year.

Congratulations to the Junior Team on the threepeat win, and thank you to every player on both sides who made this year's Cup a great weekend of competition!

Congratulations to Diane Wehrle, our 2026 Ladies Club Champion! ⛳️🏆

Diane's performance was nothing short of dominant. She went wire to wire, leading from the very first round and never relinquishing the top spot. Carrying a commanding lead into the final round, she battled tough conditions and closed things out in style, nearly holing her approach on the 18th for an unforgettable finish to a wire to wire victory.

Thank you to all participants for making this year’s championship a memorable event, and once again, congratulations to Mrs. Diane Wehrle on a well-earned victory!

The afternoon weather may have brought some rain and challenging winds, but it couldn’t dampen the competitive spirits on the course.
