Playing with my new TYE-4X from . I learned how to use the TYE-4 over 15 years ago during my original Mat Instructor Training program. Thinking I'll take this to dance lessons with me to help my posture and connection. 🙂

4am alarm, 5.5 mile hike, waterfalls, wild flowers, an alpine lake, delicious picnic...and friends who say yes to these kinds of adventures!⛰️🧡

Thanks to for an awesome day!

Apparently, Pilates, deadlifts, and running also prepare you for loose rock at 14,000 feet. Who knew? 😏🏔️

Yesterday, the hubs and I hiked 8.5 miles to bag two 14ers, my 7th and 8th. Even as Class 1 "easy" 14ers, sections of that hike were no joke. Footing, breathing, endurance, core stability…my training showed up big time on this hike.

Even after weeks of feeling off with serious fatigue, getting rear-ended on the highway, and barely exercising, my “residual fitness” had my back (and my legs and my lungs). Here’s to strength that lasts, chocolate almonds, electrolytes, and a partner who gets up at 3:30am to support my goals. 🧡

Well, that's a wrap! It took me 25 years to complete a goal I set at 15, but all 50 states are done! We spent 5 awesome days in Missouri and had a blast in St. Louis and Lake of the Ozarks.

My rules for a state counting were that I had to eat or do an activity in each state, not just drive through. This led to a lot of awesome meals: street pizza in NYC, apples in Albany, philly cheesesteaks in Philly, weird chili in Ohio, snowballs + etouffee and a million delicious things in NOLA, fried green tomatoes in Tennessee, elk + buffalo in Jackson's Hole, wild game pub food in Idaho and Montana, fresh crab in Alaska, Chino Latino steaks in San Diego, bbq in Vermont, Texas, Missouri, fresh huckleberries and donut peaches in Oregon, some amazing Italian food in Boston, the required green chili in Albuquerque, pitch fork steaks in North Dakota, Chicago pizza, soo much good food!

My Aunty Lucy Trujillo got me started with my first big trip to Hawaii at 15, and it rolled on from there. So many different people were involved in the last 25 years of trips, and I'm so so grateful for each of you. So many fun memories. 🤩🥳🧡
