Larry Christenson was a star multi-sport athlete at Marysville High School (now Marysville-Pilchuck High School) who went on to be selected third overall in the 1972 MLB Draft and pitch 11 years for the Philadelphia Phillies. He remained very close to the Philadelphia Phillies in retirement attending many functions including many Spring Trainings. In 1972 he recorded a 0.28 ERA with 143 strikeouts in 72 innings, a .406 batting average, and four home runs.

Congradulations to our umpires who umpired this summer in the Northwoods League and the West Coast League. In the NWL, 80 games in 85 days is tough work, someone has to do it! ⚾️Assignments included regular season and post season. Great Job!
