Just to pass along info for those who might not know, our beloved doce pares escrima instructor LJ Hachmeister passed away last week. She was only with our school a short time, but was so much fun to learn from. She had such an energy and passion for things. She will be missed.

The Link will be closed Thursday, November 24, so no classes will be held.

Please be aware, The Link is closing tonight (Nov 17) at 4:30 pm, so there will be no class.

We are excited to share that starting October 4, 2022, classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Lakewood Link from 6:30 to 7:30 pm!

We do not have a set start date yet, but we almost have a contract in place for The Link! We will update you when we have a start date. Right now we're expecting that will be in September.

MAMA Gilpin County will participating in their annual demo at the Gilpin County fairgrounds Sunday, July 17 at 12:30 pm. The fairgrounds is next door to the Gilpin Recreation Center where we normally hold summer testing.

Students from the other MAMA schools are welcome to participate in the demonstration. Get in touch and I will connect you with Mr Schwettman.

If you don't want to participate, you are more than welcome to just come show your support and enjoy the other events that day!

2 things

1. Starting May 11 GM Rankin will be teaching Tae Chi Wednesdays at 4 pm at Columbine United Church. No experience necessary, good for all ages, wear comfy clothes you can move in.

2. We are still working on getting a contract in place for The Link. Unfortunately it is not a quick process and we will continue to update as we are able.

Classes to start at Green Mountain on Saturday the 26th from 10:45 to 11:45. And Monday from 5:30 to 6:30. First 2 classes are free. Students just need to go to www.GreenMountain-MartialArts.com and fill out the online registration and download the release of liability. Thanks.
