I am teaching a self-defense class on 18 and 25 January; this is a targeted class for two local businesses. It is open to adult students and parents of minor students, but the instructor focus will be on the business staff. Due to the material and scenarios covered this class is not really appropriate for minors.

Schedule Update

There will be no class on 26 November, as many families will be traveling for the holiday. For those who have not paid yet, there will be a 25% discount for November. For those who have, I will be returning the balance.

I will be out of town until 5 December; I am uncertain if class will be covered on the 3td. When I know I will post the info here, and notify everybody.

There will be a discount for December as well, as the school will be closed on at least the 24th and the 31st. I will post a full schedule next week.

Master Bruce Bishop will be teaching the first two classes in September (3 & 5 September). All students are strongly encouraged to attend at least one of these classes to experience his perspective on some of the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do.

Assuming the weather holds each day, classes on 20 and 22 August will be held outdoors. The focus will be on falls and working on uneven ground. Students should wear sneakers, loose fitting shirt and pants. Wear clothing that will not suffer from grass stains.

If it is raining, class will be inside as normal. Dobalks will not be required if we are indoors.

The Schwettmans will be at the Link for our class on 16 July. They will be sharing their experiences from the conference they attended earlier this year, and some techniques they have learned.

All students are encouraged to attend the Tuesday class this week if at all possible.
