Good rallies, better company, Denver Racquets Club.
Myth or Fact: You should always recover to the center after every shot.
MYTH. Your recovery position depends on where you send the ball. Cross court? Recover cross court from your opponent. Down the middle? Shift your recovery back toward the middle.
Smart recovery = better court coverage.
Send this to someone you miss a lot 🥹.
Maybe we should stick to tennis. 😂
Step, bump, step, bump, bump… yeah, we’ll see you on the court.
MYTH OR FACT: Should you bend your knees on every groundstroke?
FACT. Your legs are stronger than your arms, so use them. Bending your knees helps you create pace, absorb pace, and stay in control.
More legs. Less arm.
The volley isn’t about power. It’s about control. Block the ball. Step forward. Stay balanced. And always split step so you’re ready at the net. Think wall, not swing.
The juniors are back at it again.
This time, we mic’d them up during a cone drill and let’s just say… they had plenty to say about it.
Part 2 might be even better than the first!
WHAT do tennis players reallllly want for their birthday? 😂😂😂
The difference is in the reps.
At Denver Racquets Club, our pros see it every day—high level tennis is built on consistency, not shortcuts. The players you watch on TV put in hours on court, day after day, and that repetition is what makes the game look so effortless.
That’s what we believe in here: more court time, more reps, better tennis.
