✈️ FREQUENT FLYER FACT
Goalies weren't always allowed to drop to the ice! When the NHL began in 1917-18, the rules were changed to allow goaltenders to fall to the ice to make a save. Before that, dropping to the ice could earn a goalie a penalty. Imagine playing butterfly goalie under that rule! 🥅
