Lakewood Volleyball

Our last manager we are celebrating is Laila Garibay! Laila has never been on a Lakewood High School team but she’s been playing volleyball since the 6th grade when her older cousin joined the team. She doesn’t have a specific memory, everything has been amazing from the open gyms to our games and even connecting with the girls outside of volleyball. After high school, Laila plans to go to a community College and do the EMT service!! Thank you for everything!! 🧡 SENIOR NIGHT IS TONIGHT!! BE THERE AT 6PM AT LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL!! TODAY OCTOBER 17TH!!

Today we are going to celebrate another amazing manager, Jordyn Von Holdt!! Jordyn has been apart of the volleyball program for all 4 years, having played volleyball for 4 years and managed for 2. Her favorite LHS volleyball memory was when JV beat Denver East in a chaotic and exciting match! After high school Jordyn is planning on going to study elementary education in college. Thank you Jordyn for all that you’ve done!! 🧡SENIOR NIGHT IS TONIGHT!! TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17TH!!!

Up next we’d like to celebrate another one of our amazing managers, Violet Deyling!! Violet has been involved in the program since freshman year and a pro-stats taker!! Her favorite memory is meeting new people she’s grown to love, and the friendships she will always cherish. She is planning to continue her education at CU Boulder to study Business and Marketing!! Thank you for all that you’ve done!! 🧡 SENIOR NIGHT IS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17TH!!!

Now it’s time to celebrate one of our amazing managers, Rainah Trujillo!! Rainah has played volleyball since 3rd grade and has been involved in the volleyball program for all 4 years. Due to injuries she decided to take the manager position for her last year at Lakewood High School!! Rainah’s favorite memory was being able to connect and grow with her teammates and always have a smile on her face whenever she’s around them! As of right now, Rainah is planning on going to college to study forensic science and major in biology!! Thank you for all the amazing stat taking you’ve done throughout the season!! 🧡 REMINDER, SENIOR NIGHT IS TUESDAY OCTOBER 17TH!!!

Up next in our senior spotlight we have the one, the only, Elli Breeser!! Elli is our outside/rightside hitter and middle blocker!! She has been playing volleyball for 7 years and one of her favorite LHS volleyball moments was this year when we beat Chatfield!!!! Her plans after high school are to study in social working with a minor in outdoor leadership :)! We love you Elli, thank you for everything!! 🧡 Senior night is Tuesday, October 17th!!

Today we’d like to take a moment to celebrate Maisa Volk!! Maisa has been playing volleyball for 6 years and is the program’s outside hitter! Her favorite memory is getting to know the people in the program. While being apart of the multiple laughs and countless smiles. Maisa plans to study chemistry and hope to assist in research based studies aiming to increase individuals health. Thank you for all that you’ve done!! 🧡 Save the date for our senior night, Tuesday, October 17th!!

Today’s senior spotlight is Miriam Koller!! Miriam has played volleyball for 10 years and is the programs middle blocker!! Miriam’s favorite LHS volleyball memory was Sophomore year when the JV team went to a game of 40 with Broomfield. It was exhausting but definitely something to remember. Miriam plans to study chemistry in college and is very excited to use her major to make advancements in protecting our environment. You are going to do great things Miriam! 🧡 Dont forget… SENIOR NIGHT IS OCTOBER 17TH!!!

Next we are going to celebrate Preslie Jerebker!! Preslie is our programs setter and has been playing volleyball for 8 years!! Her favorite memory while playing at Lakewood was beating chatfield for the first time in 8 years in the 5th set of a super close game! Preslie is planning on playing D3 volleyball at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is going to study data science and business!! Make sure to kick some butt next year!! 🧡 Reminder that senior night is Tuesday, October 17th

Our first senior spotlight of the season is Keira Thompson! Keira is a libero who’s been playing with the program since her freshman year, and having played volleyball for over a decade!! Keira is a great leader in the program here at lakewood and has grown so much as a person and a player!! Keira is planning on furthering her knowledge in business and plans on owning her own volleyball club! Thank you for all that you’ve done, you’re going to do great things! 🧡 Make sure to mark your calendars for senior night!!! Tuesday, October 17th
