Cavendisc disc golf

Well folks I requested the baskets be reinstalled at Cavendish, but I was told it was not a priority and they would not be put back at Cavendish. They did say they may put them up somewhere else. No real explanation was forthcoming as I told them we would install them ourselves. I also asked what the real rationale was, no details were given. Sorry folks, I don't understand it.

After contacting Pulama I have been informed the baskets will not be reinstalled at this time. The issue is keeping the baskets clean of virus. I have a feeling there's other politics at play as well. I can't help feeling it leans to the mean spirited side, but I am not in their heads or hearts so I can't say for sure. I prefer to play a course sans golfers anyway as I do not relish being hit by a ball.
There is a possibility we can build our own course in another location. That would be awesome. We can make it so we have varied terrain and A, B, and C pads for kids.
I hesitate to give out Pulama personel contact information as I really want to get a new, better disc golf course where it is safe to throw, the course is challenging, and attracts players aged 5 to 100 years young.

Cavendish has opened for golf, but the baskets for disc golf are no where to be found, anyone know what's up with that?!?!

Tacos and tossing Thursday. Meet at Lanai city grille 5 to 6 grab a few $2 tacos...perhaps a margarita or dos then head to Cavendish and throw in the sunset glow. Glowing discs provided, just let me know if you need.

I am curious to know the level of interest in constructing and maintaining a full 18 basket course here on Lana'i. A, B, and C pads, and a putting area would be awesome. Please feel free to share your mana'o.
