It is with great sadness that I report a loss to the Lancaster Bowling community.

Sandy Myers passed away early Thursday, April 30, 2026. Sandy has been an icon for many years in our local bowling community. She was an avid bowler for many years. Sandy provided services for the bowlers of Lancaster County across several decades as our association manager, director, and tournament manager. We are very grateful for her dedication and service to our bowlers. Sandy also served on the PA Women's Bowling Board of Directors for many years.

Sandy leaves a legacy in her wake, which will be tough to top. The Lancaster USBC Bowling Association expresses sympathy and prayers to both her family and our bowling community family.

This past weekend, Alex Horton became the newest champion of the PBA Tournament of Champions at historic AMF Riviera Lanes in Fairlawn, Ohio. But did you know he is also part of the Lancaster USBC family?

He bowled in the Williams Exxon Commercial league on Thursday nights at 222 Dutch Lanes this 2025-2026 season, averaging 228 for 72 games. He has been a Lancaster USBC member since the 2023-2024 season.

It's an honor to have a PBA Major Champion bowling with us! Our biggest congratulations to Alex on an incredible accomplishment.

Let's congratulate Lancaster USBC members Mark Eversole, Adam Gaultney, and their teammates for taking the early lead in the Classified Division at the USBC National Championships in Reno, NV! Mark and Adam both bowl in a league at Timber Wolfe Lanes. A very strong second game on a very challenging condition propelled them to the top!

Timber Wolfe Lanes #2 had games of 744, 1,001 and 895 for a total of 2,640 and the lead in Classified Team. The team consisted of Mark Eversole (525), Adam Gaultney (518), Justin Culbertson (539), Jay Black (447) and Devin Shepherd (611). Great bowling, guys!
