We are very proud of this kid. Michaelangelo, unfortunately didn’t get the W last night, but he fought in an absolute banger. It was his debut against a solid opponent who had a couple fights already. When Michaelangelo began with KIX in 2024 I never thought we had a “fighter” but suddenly he began to look like an absolute beast. He won his first to semi contact fights and it was time to get in the ring. Use this experience and apply it for your next one. You will be a great one. ⚔️

IFS 8/28. KIX went 2-1.

Zaire “Malcolm X” Walker won his amateur debut with a dominant unanimous decision. Using great clinch, boxing and some timely knees.

Sarah Moore also won her amateur debut in a great comeback performance. I believe she lost the first round, we made the proper adjustments and she executed to perfection in rounds 2 and 3 securing the unanimous decision.

Josh “Piernas Locas” fought with a different rule set, but no excuses. He lost a tough split decision. He has two big fights already matched in October and December. On to the next.

ALL LADIES!!! Not just moms…. It was suggested but a few of our students’ moms, but this will b open to all ladies who want to learn some fundamentals, get away from your kids or significant other for an hour, or just get a good workout.

Exactly a year ago today they were “PMT Warriors”. Neither had an amateur fight, but both had great success at the PMT level. Now they have winning amateur records, one is a Cali Muay Thai Champion, the other has a title fight set for Dec 4. These guys grind together, grow together and it’s been a joy to watch. They are also both just MONTHS away from dropping the headgear and shin guards, and being able to work those elbows! I know they’re counting the days. ⚔️

I can’t wait for next Friday! We have three fighting full rules Muay Thai at IFS. Anchored by our up and coming star Josh “PIERNAS LOCAS” Salcido. We are also very excited for the debut of Zaire “Malcom X” Walker and Sarah Moore! This is going to be an exciting night and a great night for KIX. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
