In 1994, researchers studied 100 frail nursing-home residents whose average age was 87.

After only 10 weeks of supervised, progressive strength training, the participants who exercised increased their strength by 113%. They also improved their walking speed, stair-climbing ability, and overall daily activity.

The message is not that every older adult should suddenly start lifting heavy weights.

The message is that age alone does not eliminate your ability to improve.

Even adults experiencing significant weakness or frailty can respond remarkably well when exercise is appropriately designed, carefully supervised, and gradually progressed.

You may not be able to train exactly as you did when you were younger—but you can still become stronger, move better, and increase your ability to remain independent.

At Life to the Full Fitness, we begin by evaluating the abilities you rely on in everyday life. We then build a personalized training program to help you improve them safely and confidently.

Your age does not determine your potential.

Strong. Capable. Independent.

The clients who do best here begin before something forces them to.

That decision matters.
