This sequence trains the transition from loaded → unloaded power, which is exactly what athletes experience in sport.

Starting under load on the box, athletes absorb force into a controlled squat hold… then drop the weight and immediately express that force through a hurdle jump, vertical jump, and sprint to a hard stop.

It’s not just strength. It’s how you use it.
