Saddle Pressure Mapping gives us objective information needed to make the best decisions for positioning and saddle selection. Here we have a rider who naturally bears weight more forward on the saddle. Saddle designs have width placed in certain areas of the saddle to provide the pelvis with the correct support. Good support and positioning decreases peak saddle pressure, improves comfort, and balances the pelvis on the saddle shown by the more central, red, center of pressure line. Peak pressures here were reduced over 50% and weight shift balanced right to left.

Have a moment to think about handlebars?
Handlebar width has come into the conversation more often recently. In the not so distant past I would say most riders have not even considered handlebar width as an aspect of fit that can improve comfort and handling on the bike.
There is a full stock of sizes and flares at the office to meet your fit goals for road and multisurface riding. Reducing hand symptoms, improving bike control, making all positions accessible, and improving aerodynamics are some considerations.
These two standout bars with regard to shape and ergonomics, from ENVE and Ritchey, are some examples that can help with your road or multisurface goals.
