To the couples who reached out in one of my posts: It's wonderful to hear from each of you! You might think that it was just another wedding day for me in the long list over the years, but I truly mean it when I say that each couple means something to me and I don't take the responsibility lightly. I know all too well that I'm not always perfect but it's always from my heart. Thank you all for letting me share in one of your most important days in life ❤️

15 years ago today is when my journey began as an ordained Interfaith Minister and unexpectedly as an Officiant just 6 weeks later. My initial interest was as a Hospice Chaplain, which I did for a few years along the way, but weddings quickly became my fulltime job. What a wild ride it has been 🙏❤️🕊

My personal healing journey has deepened my ability to hold sacred space for others. I bring compassion, presence, and genuine care to every ceremony I lead.
Over the past 15 years, I've been grateful for every wedding, baby blessing, and funeral that I've had the honor of officiating. It never gets old. And I'm looking forward to many more 💞

Somehow with the craziness of 2023, I missed posting anything on this page. But I'm still here!
It's a lovely way to start off the new year with the 2024 awards from The Knot and Wedding Wire. 2023 was an interesting year in all the ways. I'm grateful for all of it, even the hard stuff, and especially my dear couples who let me share in their wedding day and for their lovely reviews. With 14 years of officiating in the bag, here's to this new year with new memories and new couples and all the wonderful vendors that I'll be working with.
Now let's see if I can manage a post or two more before the end of this year 😉

It's been a minute since I posted on IG and I thought it was about time since July marked 13 years as a Ceremony Officiant. With over 1,800 weddings, plus all the baptisms and funerals through the years, it still warms my heart when a couple like Michelle ❤️ Brendan takes the time to send a lovely card. Knowing I'm helping make a couple's dream come true and giving their guests a beautiful moment to remember too, keeps the passion going within me. Thank you to all my couples, families, and frendors over these past 13 years. You helped to make my dreams come true too ❤️

Had someone told me how my life would change upon being ordained as as Interfaith Minister, I wouldn't have believed it. It was 11 years ago today that I took the oath, along with my personal oath, and it feels like a lifetime ago. I've experienced some tremendous losses that tried to break me at the core and I've experienced joyous moments that have helped me to keep moving forward and have reminded me that amongst the fire there is a rainbow at every turn when you're willing to see it. To all who have helped me along the way, family, friends, friendors, and all my wedding couples and baptism and funeral families, thank you for supporting me and loving me through it. Today, I say my personal oath, as I have done daily since June 13, 2010, but with a restored dedication to be mindful of my intention and my purpose.

Hi People, I just wanted to pop in to say I'm still around. Life has been keeping me hopping between the biz (weddings and baptisms), the state caseworker job, studies for the BASW, and life stuff. But I have managed to fit in time to smell the roses, or in the case of this photo, taking time to visit a favorite local spot that offers plenty of fresh air and space for reflecting on the intricacies of life. I hope life is treating you well and that you know you are made of love. Peace, friends 💞

The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White
I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you 💝

The calm before the storm this eve. It was nice to take a break from the wedding biz and college homework and just forget about everything for a little while. The news, social media, all of it can feel overwhelming at times and especially since there is so much uncertainty for several reasons.
♡
As we move through these times of social injustice and the coronavirus, self care is a necessity. Also, be kind to others. Be kind to yourself. Know that we are all connected with each other and have a duty to each other to show compassion, to be fair, to be welcoming.
♡
The Golden Rule, which is echoed in every major world religion, reminds us what we are called to do as human beings: to treat others as you want to be treated. It's not always easy, but it's always the right thing to do.

Peace 💞
