Hey all so I said that October I was gonna focus on creating, and sticking to a meal prep/plan schedule. I been killing it this week although it’s only Tuesday. I wrote out my plan in chicken scratch but it’s still there! I’m so glad to get my FitxBrit stuff back poppin. Gonna record some workouts this weekend as well! Post up!

Tips for better sleep‼️ As I sit here trying to work with 3 hours of so so sleep 💤 I’m inspired to post “Tips for better sleep” . - Go to bed and wake up at the same time (set biological clock)
- Limit caffeine, alcohol and stimulants. Limit prior to sleep about 4-6 hours.
- Create a relaxing sleep environment. Your bedroom is not an office or game room! Set room temperature no lower than 75 degrees research shows we sleep better in cooler rooms.
- Limit screen time. 2 hours before bed is ideal. Light stimulates the brain to be awake.
- Get a sleep routine.
-Don’t nap throughout the day because it disrupts your sleep cycle.
- Watch what you eat before bed time. Large meals should be consumed 2-4 hours before bed. Followed by light snacks with protein such as peanut butter, cheese or crackers. - Limit fluids. Causes repeated trips to the bathroom.
- Also try supplements to induce relaxation for better sleep including; melatonin, ginkgo biloba, glycine, valerian root, magnesium, L- theanine, lavender. - Take a bath or shower before bed - Exercise regularly but, NOT before bed.
Clearly some of these are harder to do than others however these tips may help you sleep better. Have a productive day 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
