I hear you, I love you, I stand with you

As my grandfather loves to say, “that’s the price you pay when you play.” I fell off my long board and gave myself a type 3 ac joint separation. The last few weeks have been super painful, but it’s been a good experience. Seeing these things as negative is a choice. Life is all opportunities. I’ve had the opportunity to receive love and guidance from people who care about me. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this motivated to get stronger and better. 5 more weeks in this damn sling, then I can start killing it in rehab. I want to be stronger and better at Capoeira at the end of this year than I was at the beginning. Stay strong people! Love is the answer. ❤️❤️

Everyone:

Capoeira classes are suspended for now. Most of you know my wife Millie is a nurse at UPMC Lititz. This puts us at a high risk of getting this bug when it comes around. Out of an abundance of caution, we’re going keep our distance.

Payments are suspended while we are closed. Please fill out the forms you got this week. If you can scan and send them to me, that would be awesome. If not, please contact me so we can plan how to get them to me.

The link to the registration form for Lancaster Capoeira's 2020 Spring session just went out. If you feel you missed this email list in error, please let me know! I'm VERY much looking forward to training with everyone!!!

Alright everyone, classes will start February 3rd, and registration is open! Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7-8pm at Citiline Studio of Dance on Elizabeth Ave. Additional Saturdays will be planned for rodas and/or guest teachers. This session will run from 2/3 to 6/29. Please direct message, text, or email me at [email protected] to express your interest! I'll respond with full details and instructions for signing up for auto-pay when the time comes. I need to meet a 10 person threshold to commit to this session.

Session membership (with 1 class a week) is just $50 a month! Additional classes are at the drop-in rate of $15 per class. Must be a member to drop-in, unless it's your first class, you're from out of town, or you make other arrangements with me! Unlimited membership for all classes is $100/month. This program is about the community and teaching people who really want to learn capoeira. If you have any monetary concerns, please reach out to me. We'll see if accommodations can be made.
