We posted a few days ago about Xavier Taylor who was hit in the neck by a baseball during warmups. Here is the latest update as of 6/7. We continue to pray for you Xavier!!!

The baseball community is bigger than any one team, town, or state. Right now, that community is rallying around 12-year-old Xavier Taylor of Maple Shade, New Jersey, who remains hospitalized after suffering a tragic injury during pregame warmups nearly two weeks ago.
As Xavier continues to fight, the support pouring in from across the country has been incredible. Players, teams, and families have worn his #6, placed baseball bats outside their homes, lit blue porch lights, and dressed in blue to show their love and support.
Professional organizations have joined the effort as well. Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs visited Xavier and presented him with a team signed bat. The Trenton Thunder honored him at home plate, and the Tampa Bay Rays sent a special video message of encouragement.
There is hope. Xavier's father reports that he is no longer on blood pressure medication, his vital signs are stable, and he is receiving nutritional care as he continues his recovery journey.
The outpouring of support has been overwhelming, with community fundraising efforts surpassing $125,000 to help Xavier and his family. Landmarks including the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and Camden City Hall have been illuminated in blue in his honor.
Please continue to keep Xavier, his family, friends, teammates, and the entire Maple Shade community in your thoughts and prayers. The baseball family stands together, believing in miracles and hoping for continued positive progress every day.
