Hello! My name is Karen. Those who know me well call me "KarenTheRunner!" My love for health and fitness has led me down the path to create my very own start up business, which I have named Fresh Start Fitness. My experience in physical fitness and health has accumulated over the years. Essentially it began wit
h the physical training I received in the Air Force in 1995. Wanting more knowledge in the health field I became a Registered Nurse in 2005. In 2014 I completed the World Instructor Training Course (W.I.T.S). Shortly after this I began to train friends, family, and friends of friends. The love of the job has grown on me and in 2016 I decided to start my own business venture and HERE I AM! Becoming physically fit and educated in the health sciences has helped me to achieve the knowledge to help others in their personal pursuit of living a more fit, active, and healthy lifestyle. Personal wellness can be achieved by those who actively seek it! Now my GOAL is to help others pursuit their own personal fitness goals. Being an avid Runner and Marathoner I have the endurance to get you to the finish line, or maybe just the start! Being a strong believer in building strong bones for my later years I have found the importance of weight training. This is a skill set that needs to be taught by using the proper body mechanics and knowing ones limitations. Circuit training which I also do improves overall aerobic fitness and stamina. There is something for everyone to improve their fitness level and I would love to share it with you! I have a positive attitude and work with positive reinforcement.
