2013 Valley 10U Travel Softball

Congrats to the 12u Vallley team for making it to the states!!

I would like to send a huge thanks to all the coaches & parents who helped out this season & this past week getting the girls prepared & ready for every practice & games!!!

Also a huuuuuge shout out to Scott (Greta's dad) for the amazing pics!!!! So many memory's captured to share to our friends & family's for a lifetime.

I would just like to say how proud I am of how the girls played this weekend.

With only 9 girls to do everything... what they accomplished was amazing. It's funny, u kinda wished we lost big the last game & not be 60 feet away from tie'ing the game!!!! We had to fight the heat, injurys, girls playing in different positions... Everybody was an MVP today. You know in 3 games, we did not walk one girl???? How does that happen??? That's insane!!!! Cam, Jess K, & Greta... Just WOW!!!

Thanks to all the coaches... & parents who helped. We had a very long week, enjoy ur Sunday relaxing with ur girls & NO talking softball.

Coach Rios & other assistant coaches will be doing fall ball @ Levittown American. As like baseball, tryouts for travel start in the fall now too. We will see were we are at on how we're going to do this. I need only dedicated players who can show up at every game & practices.

Awesome game tonight against Newtown {16-2} to kick off the district tourni!!! Every girl got a hit & made great plays in the field!!! Camryn pitched lights out & grabbed MVP... Lets keep the runaway train rolling tomorrow 8am!!! Who Rocks??? Blaze Rocks!!!!

Batting Cages tonight @ extra innings... 7:30-8:30

We have practices Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday...
Tuesday @ Bensalem community center 6 pm
Wednesday & Thursday @ wood river 6pm
Any rain in forecast, we will go to extra innings

We have 14 girls on the roster(some can play everyday, others cannot). The tourni is @ Langhorne this Friday thru Sunday!! Do not know times or if we play Friday... Have meeting 9pm on Wednesday @ Langhorne. Will need everyone to fill out a permission form & a copy of your child's birth certificate. This info is filed with the state. There are 4-5 teams in our district & if we finish top two... We go to states July 6th weekend near Audubon (did I spell that correctly).

Our coaches are myself, Eric Rios & Scott Wilkinson. I will need a scorekeeper for the dugout.

I will do my best to get everyone at bats & play the field. Our starters will continue to play there positions & when they cannot make the games, will need to make some adjustments. There will be NO staying up late the night before!!! We will coordinate snacks & other things that we will need for the tourni when I get the schedule.
