❤️‍🩹Today we marked the third annual Catherine Cesaro Memorial MS Ride with the Swedish Hospital MS Adventure Team❤️‍🩹

This day is always filled with so much joy — and also a reminder of how much we miss Catherine. It was Catherine's dream to have fellow riders with multiple sclerosis come ride at HOPE Therapeutic Riding Program. She spent years getting everything in place, and passed away just one month before the first ride. HOPE has continued this tradition in her honor, with each September bringing riders with MS from all over Washington State to participate alongside the Swedish Hospital MS Adventure Team.

We began our morning with a wonderful, mindful visualization meditation, then moved into riding and groundwork.

Everyone seemed happier and more at peace by the end of the day.

Our biggest compliment came from the group leader, who said it was wonderful watching everyone forget about their diagnoses and just have time with the horses — free from all of our ailments, if only for a few hours.

Catherine we love you and miss you; we could feel you with us 🥰
