It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved head coach.

Coach Dre was more than a coach— he was a mentor, a leader, role model, father, and a friend to all who knew him. He dedicated his life to shaping not only athletes but strong, compassionate individuals. Through countless seasons Coach Dre inspired us with his unwavering dedication, integrity, and heart.

His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the community he helped build.

It is with deep regret that we announce the folding of the Capital City Savages.

We are grateful for our time in Lansing and to all of those who supported us along the way, thank you!

The community embraced us with open arms, lending a helping hand in the growth of our organization.

Our fans, friends and family stuck by our side through the ups and downs and were a major factor in our success.

It is time to look forward to new opportunities, new teams, new experiences and we wish for our fans to follow along as players continue their careers elsewhere.
