Operating a vehicle isn’t casual.
It’s responsibility.

Every time you drive distracted, speed through neighborhoods, or squeeze past a cyclist, you’re gambling with someone else’s future.

Bikes don’t destroy lives.
Inattentive driving does.

Give 3 feet.
Put the phone away.
Be the reason everyone gets home safely. 🚲

🚴‍♀️ Great news for Lansing! 🚴‍♂️

The DALMAC Fund recently awarded more than $120,000 to bicycle-related projects across Michigan, and Lansing Parks & Recreation received $8,000 toward a $15,000 project to improve safety along the Lansing River Trail.

The funding will be used to purchase and install 300 non-slip strips on River Trail bridges, helping reduce slip hazards and create a safer experience for walkers, runners, and cyclists.

The DALMAC Fund, supported by the Tri-County Bicycle Association and the annual DALMAC ride, has invested more than $2.1 million in bicycle and trail-related projects throughout Michigan since the late 1980s.

Thank you to the DALMAC Fund for helping make Lansing's trails safer for everyone! 🌳🚲💚

DALMAC Route Update. Sections of M-119, "Tunnel of Trees", in Emmet County have been damaged by heavy rains and snow melt.

The DALMAC Route and Map Developer has designed a detour around these road sections, while maximizing travel on M-119, including Good Hart.

See the MDOT press release, and proposed detour route, highlighted in blue, in the affected areas. This detour will only be necessary if the road is not repaired in time for DALMAC.
