One of LRD’s most seasoned & experienced dancers.
Ximena is a 5 year veteran at LRD. She has formed part of LRD The Company for 5 years, and she has trained under Ms. June for 7 consecutive years. She has grown as a dancer under Ms. June’s direction, and as a result, she has refined her own style, developed incredible confidence, and advanced her skills as a performer & choreographer. Her desire is to continue training in order to pursue a career as a professional dancer in the commercial dance industry, while working on a BA at TAMIU. Ximena will be attending an intensive at CLI later this fall.
We highlight Ximena today to share what years of hard work & dedication looks like in a dancer, and to celebrate what training under LRD & Ms. June can do for a dancer’s confidence, technique, and movement quality. Lots of people say our dancers at LRD dance “different,” and in Laredo, it is true, but that level of performance quality does not happen overnight. It takes years of preparation, nurturing, and training to develop.
The most dedicated dancers will always reap the most benefits.
Ximena brings so much pride and joy to LRD for her outstanding effort & dedication; she is a perfect example of what we teach and cultivate at LRD.
