Happy birthday to Laredo’s MMA pioneer, SSonny "El Loco" Luque 🥊🎂

From the early days of MMA in Laredo to building a legacy that continues through the next generation of fighters, Sonny has dedicated decades to martial arts—as a fighter, champion, coach and mentor.

Today we celebrate not only the man behind Laredo Kickboxing Academy, but someone who helped pave the way for MMA in our city and continues to share his knowledge and experience with our community.

LKA Supporting the Roli Foundation 🥊❤️
It’s hard to believe that it has already been a year since we lost our good friend, Roli.
Roli was not only a friend to many of us, but also a trade school student. In his memory, his family has created a foundation dedicated to providing scholarships to students pursuing a career through trade school.
Laredo Kickboxing Academy and friends would like to show our support for Roli and his family by putting together Team LKA for their upcoming bowling tournament. 🎳
Our goal is to raise at least $500 for the foundation by putting together two LKA teams of 5 players.
💰 $50 per player
🎳 5 players per team
🥊 2 teams = $500 raised
❤️ And the more people who participate, the more we can raise!
We are looking for at least 10 LKA members, friends, family, and supporters who would like to come out, bowl, have some fun, and most importantly, help support a great cause in memory of our friend Roli.
