Holiday Jr. Masters Recap β³οΈ
The Holiday Jr. Masters wrapped up a great week of junior golf, bringing together talented young players for a competitive and well-run event. Golfers showed impressive skill, sportsmanship, and composure, making for an exciting tournament from start to finish. Events like this continue to play an important role in junior player development, giving athletes the opportunity to test their games, learn under pressure, and build confidence in a tournament setting. Thank you to all the players, parents, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the Holiday Jr. Masters a success.

We are kicking off the year with an exciting LJGA Holiday Junior Masters!
The format for this event will be an individual stroke play event. ALL DIVISIONS will be assigned a tee time prior to the start of the round.
Tee times will be released at noon on Saturday, January 3rd on the event website & emailed out to all participating players.
Drinks will be available to players at No. 1 & No. 10 Tees.

Junior Border Cup Recap
What a battle in Brownsville today! After a long, hard-fought day of matches, the Laredo Junior Golf Association came out on top against the Rio Grande Valley Junior Golf Association with a 13-11 victory. Congratulations to Team Laredo on earning their 6th straight Border Cup title! ππ

Big Red Regional Championship!
LJGA Individual Stroke Play (August 17) results:
β’ College Women (18 Holes): Jordan Hernandez (Edcouch) won with a 90 (+18).
β’ Boys 16β18 (18 Holes): Miguel Jimenez took 1st with a strong 73 (+1), followed by David Puig (75) and Juventino Fernandez (76).
β’ Boys 14β15 (18 Holes): Emiliano Fernandez led the field with a 74 (+2), just ahead of Daniel Hastings (76).
β’ Girls 16β18 (18 Holes): Aly Esparza (Laredo) claimed the win with an 81 (+9).
β’ Boys 12β13 (9 Holes): Jeremiah Coco Cabrera dominated with a 39 (+3), edging Eduardo Chapa (42).
β’ Girls 12β13 (9 Holes): Ameli Flores (Laredo) topped the division with a 46 (+10).
β’ Boys 10β11 (9 Holes): Diego Lopez shot 37 (+1) for 1st place, narrowly ahead of Noah Villarreal (38).
β’ Boys 6β9 (9 Holes): Keith Dorne (Laredo) took 1st with a 25 (+2) over Enzo Rico (27).
β’ Girls 6β9 (9 Holes): Livia Molano won with a 42 (+19), followed by Ellanie Villarreal (46).
π Overall, Miguel Jimenez (73) and Emiliano Fernandez (74) posted the lowest 18-hole scores, while Keith Dorne (25) had the standout round in the youngest division.
