Public announcement: Tryouts for the 2026-2027 Golden Spurs dance team will be in March 2026. A parent meeting will be held on February 9, 2026 at 5pm in the Nixon cafeteria. The 2025-2026 Nixon Golden Spurs will be hosting a Jr. Golden Spur camp. If interested, please scan the QR code for more information. Camp will be for ages 3 (potty trained) and up. Deadline to register is January 20, 2026. Camp attendees will be performing during a basketball halftime on February 10, 2026.

YOUR 2025 CPD NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! The national title is back home! What an amazing way to finish our 2024-2025 season!! We couldn’t be any more prouder of our Spurs! Their hard work, dedication and devotion this season has truly paid off! This season will forever be a special season!! This past weekend, they competed at the Crowd Pleasers Dance Competition (Texas Showcase) and ended the competition with a bang! Very well deserved win for our Spurs! 💚💛 To our parents, thank you for the unconditional love and support throughout this entire season and for always being there for our Spurs! It is deeply appreciated! We would like to congratulate the 2024-2025 Senior Golden Spurs. On Friday's Nixon vs. Cigarroa football game, the Seniors did their last jump split and performed a kick routine dedicated to their parents.
