Drop your ideas in the comments — the more the merrier! Not every activity will be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s totally fine. Stick around anyway, because I promise we’ll find *something* that lights you up.

Here’s what’s been swirling around in my brain (very much based on my own interests, so take them with a grain of salt and add your own flavor):

- Crafting night
- Snacks at sunset on the beach
- Skate or bike around the neighborhood
- Dog park meetup
- Coffee shop hang
- Brunch
- Sushi night
- Fancy dinner
- Themed potluck
- Concert
- Theatre
- Chick-flick movie night
- Beach walk
- Bible study
- Cooking class
- Play dates with kids or grandkids

And of course, we’ll sprinkle in some hula hoop fun along the way!

In my last group we once road-tripped to Sarasota for a spa day… with retired circus elephants. Yes, really. So feel free to think outside the box — the weirder and more wonderful, the better.

Everything will be free to join, but you’ll cover your own costs for things like dinners, craft supplies, tickets, etc.

A tearful goodbye!!! Ugh!!!

After more than seven years of teaching hula hoop classes (since 2019), I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter.

Thank you to everyone who ever came out for class. Whether you came once or a hundred times, it meant so much to me. I truly enjoyed every minute of teaching and watching so many of you grow in confidence, joy, and strength.

Life moves on, and so is this group. We’re transitioning from a hoop class community into a social group focused on women’s meetups—casual gatherings and events where we can support and lift each other up.

A special thank you to my core group of hoopers who have been with me the entire time. You know who you are. I would not have stayed in business this long without your loyalty, encouragement, and friendship. You made it worth it.

Thank you for the years, the laughter, the music, and the community. It’s been an honor to be part of this community and group.

There is no hoop class tonight. The wind is 12 mph w 18 mph gusts. Not fun hooping conditions... Will hope for better weather next week. And be adding an LED hooping session at the end of class
