Figured I'd get the handles on this one tonight, so the epoxy would be dry by the time the weekend is here.... looking pretty good so far...

Got one of the 3 knives I started almost done... handle shaped and sanded, ready for a finish.. decided to dye the handle so it's out of a good soak in dye, I'll let it dry for a day or two...

Always learning to something, many times re-learing... re-learned the lesson of patience tonight.. thought I'd quickly do this sheath.. it actually looks good and the retention is awesome knife if 100% secure.. but in my haste pulled a rivet out.. I may try to fix it this weekend but may end up just trashing it all together.... I wize man once told me do the job right the first time or you will afford to do it again... sounds like I'm starting from scratch....

Finally found my handle finishing supplies... round one here ya go.. 2 more to go.. then a good waxing and polishing..

Roughed out a handle.. and now hurry up and wait..

Been a long time... been wanting to try to acid etch a blade.... found a decent pattern on the side of a bottle of french dressing... first attempt pleased with the results.... I guess I need to start a handle now...

Dyed the handle.. turned out awesome.. final finish tomorrow.....
