We received such a great response on the return of the Graton Cook-Off, and now it’s time to get those teams signed up!

Here are the details:
Saturday, December 5, 2026
Larose Civic Center
Cooking begins at 6:00 AM
$20 refundable deposit to reserve your team’s spot — your deposit will be returned when your team shows up and cooks!

TEAM DETAILS:
• Teams must provide their own fat — 1 box or approximately 60 lbs.
• Teams must provide their own cooking equipment & supplies
• Cooking begins at 6:00 AM
• Gratons must be turned in for the judges by 3:00 PM

🎄🐊 WE’RE BRINGING BACK A CLASSIC! 🐊🎄

It’s been years, but it’s time to fire up the pots again! 🔥

As part of our Christmas Car Show on Saturday, December 5th, we’re bringing back a bayou favorite! The GRATON COOK-OFF! Start time will be 6AM. Turned in to judges by 3PM.

We’re looking for teams ready to cook up some good ol’ fashioned gratons and see who has what it takes to take home the bragging rights!

Want to cook?
Team sign-ups are NOW OPEN! A $20 deposit will reserve your team’s spot. When your team shows up and cooks on event day, you’ll get your $20 back! This simply helps us know how many teams to prepare for.

Teams will need to provide their own fat (1 box of fat or 60lbs) & cooking supplies.
