WinMan Trails is a network of silent sport trails located in Wi******er, WI. Spanning 1300 acres of private land and public Northern Highlands American Legion State Forest recreation land, WinMan Trails offer opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, classic skiing, skate skiing, and snowshoeing. WHERE: WinMan Trails is located 4 miles north of Manitowish Waters on Highway W. The trailhead and parking lot are at the intersection of Highway W and J.

Sunny skies and clear trails!

The weather looks amazing over the next couple of days! While we’d love to dream of summer continuing forever, we know winter conditions are right around the corner. As we begin looking ahead to the snowy season at WinMan, we have a few important updates to share:

Trails & Facilities Open Through Nov. 20th. - Our trails, chalet, and Pop’s Lodge remain open for you to enjoy as long as the weather allows!

Note: As always, we will temporarily close the trail system for Wisconsin r***e season before reopening for winter in December.

Bar & Apparel Shop Closes This Weekend. - Our physical Bar & Apparel Shop is open from 10-3 on Friday and Saturday but will be closing after Saturday October 31st until winter trail season begins. But don't worry—you can shop online 24/7 at winmantrails.com/shop Keep an eye out for new apparel dropping in the coming weeks just in time for winter and holiday shopping.

Forget simple boardwalks through the woods. Trail bridges should be built to elevate your ride and blend seamlessly into the flow.

This fall, Cody Serrano of designed and constructed custom bridge work on Happy Camper and Gene Machine, and the results speak for themselves. Because Cody rides, he understands how critical transitions, sightlines, and momentum are. The new features aren't just visually striking—they keep you rolling naturally so you never lose your momentum.

They are beautifully built, insanely durable, and feel like a natural extension of the trail. If you haven't had a chance to ride them yet this fall, there's still time! Make plans now to get a few more laps in before we temporarily close for the season later this month and get ready for winter fun at WinMan.

We had an incredible Friday afternoon at WinMan Trails! Our Trail System Manager got to hit the trails alongside Mike Passo, Executive Director of American Trails.

While out on the dirt, Mike gave us a masterclass on optimizing trail building and design to make our network truly accessible and enjoyable for adaptive mountain bikes.

At WinMan, our core goal is to create world-class trail experiences that everyone can enjoy, regardless of ability. Thanks to Mike sharing his deep knowledge, expertise, and time, many of our planned updates and improvements for 2027 will be significantly better and more accessible!

Having someone of Mike’s caliber in the trail community share his professional insight directly with our team is such a game-changer for us. A huge thank you to Mike Passo for his guidance, enthusiasm, and dedication to pushing our trail system to the next level. We can't wait to put these lessons to work!

Another week, another full reset for the trail network.

Our trail crew, alongside some incredible volunteers have leaf-blown all 25+ miles of MTB trails again this week.

Freshly blown corridors? Crisp fall air? Prime Northwoods dirt?

Yeah… it doesn’t get much better than this. 🤘

What an incredible season we've had so far... and we're not done yet!

Huge thanks to all of our amazing volunteers over the past 5 months. From planting flowers at BaseCamp to serving as trail ambassadors for our visitors and clearing rocks and debris all season long, we couldn't do it without you.

We have one major volunteer event left before winter! Join us this Saturday, October 17th, as we tackle leaf blowing, prep firewood for winter, and do some final rock picking on our ski trails.

🍂 FALL RIDING AT ITS BEST. 🚵‍♂️
