Schedule Update: Aggie Range Club Performance Practice

Our upcoming Aggie Range Club Performance Practice has been pushed back to next week and will now take place on:

Saturday, September 19, 2026
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
NMSU Putting Green

This special session will focus on putting through aerification, including:

start line
speed control
green reading
adapting to changing surfaces
building confidence on the greens

Supervised by Alex Duran, PGA, this session is exclusive to Aggie Range Club members.

We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday.

We’re excited to announce the NMSU Golf Club Championship, our final event of the year, taking place October 10–11. We’re going big to close out the season with competitive golf, cash prizes, food, and plenty of fun.

⚠️ Important Eligibility Requirement
The Club Championship is open only to golfers who are already members of the NMSU Golf Club.
Membership must have been established before the Club Championship. Unfortunately, joining the club now will not make you eligible to compete in this event.
This is our final event of the year, and we want to make it our biggest one yet. Come compete for the Club Championship, chase some cash, and help us close out the season in style!

We will be accepting juniors, NMSU students, and adults of the Las Cruces community.

Operation 36 is coming to NMSU Golf Course this fall!

Beginning September 26, we’re launching a structured 6-week development program designed to help golfers learn, practice, play, and build confidence on the course.

This fall we’ll offer four pathways:

Adult Operation 36 — $300 + tax
NMSU Student Operation 36 — $200 + tax
High School Performance — $175 + tax
Junior Operation 36 — $175 + tax

Each program uses skill-based coaching, progress tracking, on-course development, and structured practice to help golfers continue moving forward at their own level.

Aerification may be underway, but NMSU Golf Course is still open for plenty of ways to work on your game!

From September 8–10, the golf course itself will be closed for aerification, but golfers can still take advantage of:

Driving Range — OPEN
Putting Greens — OPEN
Pro Shop — OPEN
Titleist Demo Day — Tuesday, Sept. 8 | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Tee times are scheduled to return Friday afternoon, with golfers returning to freshly aerated greens.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while our team completes this important maintenance process.
