Recapping John Seitz Memorial weekend...
First, thank you to all 71 WISSOTA Late Model drivers that attended this year's 20th anniversary event. Looking back through history, to the best of our knowledge this is the 3rd most WISSOTA Late Models ever at a single event over the 40-year history of WISSOTA, so that is pretty dang cool!
Cedar Lake had 82 at the WISSOTA Cup in 2003
Cedar Lake also had 76 at the WISSOTA 100 in 2002
and we tied the WISSOTA 100 from 2004 at Cedar Lake for the third most in WISSOTA history this weekend at the Seitz with 71!
The only other event we can find with 70 or more is the 2001 Red Clay Classic at ABC with 70 cars.
Several other Dakota Rumble events and WISSOTA 100 events have been in the upper 60's and we've had 62 and 64 at several Seitz Memorial events in the past as well.
*If anyone has any other 'official results' from races we may not be aware of, let us know, but either way, 71 is a crazy cool number of cars!
Second, thanks to all the other drivers in the Mods, Midwest Mods and Streets for your support as well. Over 50 MWM, over 40 Mods and 20 Streets over the weekend is awesome as well.
Congrats to Jesse Glenz Racing on his 1st Seitz Memorial championship. Congrats to Tyler Peterson Racing on winning the Big Al Delaine Memorial on Friday and his Mod win on Saturday, plus congrats to Matt Schow, Cole Greseth, Dave Mass, James Giossi, Landyn Randt and Joe Thomas on their wins over the weekend as well.

Thanks to Dave and his crew for the annual Canadian Cookout after the races on Friday night every year. Adding live music and bringing back our FYE Kool-Aid this year was a cool touch as well. It's one of the best parts of the entire weekend for sure!
