“Today I ran a quick strength test comparing a non-warmed up muscle to the same muscle after a few simple activation drills.
The goal was to show how adding activation work to your warm-up can immediately influence performance. Not only did it reduce the asymmetry in my hip flexion (which was a bit humbling 🤦🏽♂️), but it also increased my strength output.
A small amount of targeted activation can help prime the tissue, wake up the nervous system, and improve strength, balance, and recovery.
