Vegas Vipers Composite MTB Race Team

The Vipers took over Kingman for race number 4. Luckily the real snakes didn’t bite anyone. The team did awesome with a lot of green on the box. All good things must come to an end. Enjoy the season while you can the last race is only 2 weeks away.

Days like this are hard to beat. Perfect weather, tacos that were fire, trails running great, keeping us hydrated, and an awesome time hanging with the Wheel D Beasts. This is what the MTB community is all about

Life is not easy. Life is not comfortable. It is filled with excitement, joy, adversity, and triumph. Mountain biking is a great way to prepare youth for the challenges of life. They learn self reliance and learn to overcome obstacles both physical and mental. We could focus on the flat tire and be discouraged by the challenge or we could take a moment to look around and hear the peaceful calm and admire the view that people who chose the easier path will never get to see. We are grateful to be able to provide these experiences and watch these kids earn the rewards that come from choosing the harder path.

Moapa Valley Composite joined us for practice today and showed us some of their favorite trails. We could not ask for a better day. We had perfect weather and perfect hosts. Those Moapa riders can shred and have built an awesome trail system. If you have only ridden the NICA course, you are missing out on some prime riding out there. Thank you for hosting us and bringing some donuts.

While most people are sitting on their couch vegging out in front of the TV, the Vipers are out in the dark mountains above the valley putting in work. Elevated above the valley, you cannot beat the views of the beautiful moon rise and city lights.

You rush home from work to load bikes and kids, make it to practice on time, and wait patiently on cold, dark gravel shoulders while they’re out riding. And somehow, you manage to pay for all of it too.

You are the most selfless and dedicated supporters of this team. Quite simply, none of this happens without you.
