Our Intro to Swing lesson begins at 7:30p inside the lounge at Mint Tavern. The Intro to Swing lesson is only $10/person and is perfect for those who have no experience or are looking to brush up on their basics again. Plus, you never need a partner to join us!

And, if you're a little nervous about dancing, we have the best bartenders in town slingin' the cocktail confidence you need.

Stick around after the lesson for our weekly vintage Swing dance, which our community, Swing Dance Vegas, has hosted for over 19 years! This dance is FREE with your support of the bar.

Have you always wanted to learn how to partner dance but didn't know where to begin? Have you taken Ballroom, Latin, Tango, or Swing lessons in the past and want to take your skills to the next level? Well, Professor Jitterbug's School of Dance is for you!

Every Wednesday, 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., join us for Professor Jitterbug’s School of Dance, an all-levels swing and social dance workshop where you’ll unlock the secrets to dancing to (almost) any song with (almost) any one!

If you've been curious about partner dancing or looking to take your moves to the next level, this is the place for you. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, Professor Jitterbug has you covered with a unique blend of styles, techniques, and fun.

What can you expect? Each week, we’ll:
✨ Warm up with rhythm exercises
✨ Sharpen your lead/follow partnering skills
✨ Learn to find the beat in any song – vintage or modern
✨ Dive into iconic swing dances like Lindy Hop, Charleston, and more
✨ Experiment with techniques from Tango, Bachata, Rumba, Foxtrot, and beyond

No experience or partner required – just bring your love for movement and a willingness to have fun! 🎶👯‍♂️

Plus, every 4th & 5th Wednesdays, we create something special. We will randomly choose a song from a playlist featuring a variety of music genres and build a fun social dance, using our RAFTS system. Last month, it was a bluesy song from the 1940s. This month....who knows??? But, at the end, you'll be one step closer to being able to dance (almost) any song with (almost) any one!

Nick Peterson’s passion for partner dance ignited on a September night in 1998, and it’s been burning ever since! Over the last 25+ years, he’s taught swing and social dancing across the Las Vegas Valley, earning numerous awards and even a Hall of Fame induction along the way. Nick’s mission? To share his love of dance with YOU, in a friendly, welcoming, and educational environment.
