Don’t Count Statler Wright Out Just Yet!

Statler Wright is sitting No. 21 in the saddle bronc world standings, which means there’s still work to do if he wants to get back inside the Top 15 and return to Las Vegas.

But if there’s one thing we learned from Statler’s incredible 2025 championship run, it’s this: never count him out.

The defending World Champion knows how to perform when the pressure gets heavy, and with valuable September money still available, the door isn’t closed yet.

As his fans keep saying: “He’s got this. Just wait.”

Can Statler make one final push from No. 21 into the Top 15?

Guess who's joining the Ride TV lineup?

She's a 7-time NFR qualifier, top jockey and one of the overall coolest ladies in the sport of barrel racing.
Yup, we're talking about Angie Meadors.
We're teaming up with our friends at Roping. com to bring you behind-the-scenes at Angie's place in Oklahoma, where she trains and works horses alongside her husband and NFR team roper, Kollin Vonahn.

Y'all know the drill. If you have a question for Angie (or Kollin) drop it in the comments below!

Let me start by saying in the absence of “Sasha” all summer and lately “Copper”, my longtime friend Lana Tibbetts offered her horse “Jupiter” (reg. name “Whenthestarsalign”) to help Rosa out as we push hard this final stretch. He’s not had much experience in rodeo performances, but we have been making it work!!! 💥 I’m not sure who is happier, Lana, or I, but I’m soooo GRATEFUL for her generosity to trust me with her special boy. We certainly have our work cut out for us with one month left, but Rosa, Jupiter, & I will continue to give it our best shot till the end! Thanks to my “village”.

Attitude is altitude. Stay positive Champ 🏆

A little thought I have on people’s comments.
As we all know rodeo is tough and everyone is eager to comment on there favorite riders post but one thing most people don’t understand is saying things the wrong way can send someone down the wrong path. A positive mindset is crucial to being a top athlete in any discipline. Many people work on different things to elevate them and one of the hardest things to conquer is the right things we let come out of our mouths. I’ve always been big on saying things like “stay on. go win. lift on your rein… drive your hips… Ride for 10… stay Healthy… be positive… you’re the best… you are a winner… etc…”
A big thing is telling them or myself what to do right instead of what not to do wrong.
When I come across posts, especially mine because that’s what I see and interact with the most, I have fans trying to be helpful, but they say the wrong things like “Don’t get hurt… Don’t fall off… Don’t let the bull/horse get you down… etc….”
I understand people don’t have any ill intentions with it, but most people don’t understand the words you let come out of your mouth dictate the outcome in your life. I strongly advise everyone to start paying attention to what they let come out of their mouth. Keep everything as positive and uplifting as you can, especially towards yourself. Attitude is altitude. Stay positive.
Comment your positive thoughts or questions.
