Clark County Parks & Recreation Community Outreach - GIT

Today at Fresh & Groove, one of our pallets fell, and sadly, we lost five innocent mini watermelons. 🍉😂

But what happened next was truly amazing. Members of the community who were waiting in line immediately jumped in to help us. When we told them they didn’t have to help, they responded:

“With everything you and Three Square do for us, it’s our pleasure.”

Today, the community gave back to Three Square and showed us what community is truly about: people helping one another. ❤️

Thank you, District E community, for your love, support, and willingness to step up when we needed you!

Today, Community Outreach attended the Three Square Partner Conference. We had the opportunity to serve on a panel discussing food access, treating our community with dignity, connecting with people, and bringing additional resources and volunteers to distribution sites.

Near the end of the conference, they presented several awards. We were surprised and honored to learn that Community Outreach had been nominated for Community Partner of the Year. Although we did not receive the award, Three Square recognized the great work being done at our distribution sites throughout Clark County’s recreation centers. It was wonderful recognition for our entire team! Thank You Three Square for your support.
