The goal of THE LAST COWBOY and RUN FOR A MILLION is to celebrate and grow the sport of reining. The inaugural RUN FOR A MILLION in 2019, generated an excitement that spread beyond the world of reining to all western performance horse disciplines β it could be felt at cutting events, cow horse events, and even in the world of rodeo.

Approved by NRHA. Since inception, TRFAM will NOT, and has not, allowed any use of sedatives of any kind in the Million Dollar Competition. Every horse has bad blood samples, and urine when possible, taken and tested. This year, as at Cactus Classic, the Open Shoot Out will fall under the same rules. No exceptions
