Adventure In Angling

Mike from St George Utah brought his father Chuck from Thornton Colorado out for the Three Quarter Day Trip.

It has been a steady pick and we are up to 40 and counting with more time to go.

They are a couple of pleasant guys and hopefully they will make it out for another trip.

Timothy, Alejandro, David and Robert came fishing this morning after a 6 year hiatus!

It definitely is looking like the bait spawn is over but we were lucky enough to see it hit the shore once for a few seconds.

We were in the righr place at the right time and threw the net once for enought to catch 60 fish.

Jeramia and Scotia came fishing with me in February of 2018 and the north winds blew 40 mph. They stuck it out and caught a bunch of fish.

They said they were going to bring their son Gunner one day and today was the day.

It was a gorgeous day this trip but the fishing was slower. The bait bite died off after 10 or 12 fish. With the water temp at 80 degrees, we found the first fish of the season on the surface and managed several more chacing the "slurpers" around.

Everybody caught some fish and we had a real nice time.

These are some great people from Colorado and I hope to see them again one day!

Sherry and D.J. are from Brownsburg Indiana. They come to Las Vegas often. Sherry loves to fish and DJ likes to play in some of the Poker Tournaments.

Most of their visits, their timing is impeccable and they timed it perfect again.

We used every bait in the boat for 100 fish even.

I am goi g to plead the fifth on who caught the most and the largest.

Edith and Judy came out last fall for the jigging spoon bite. We managed 42 fish that day.

Since they both live in the greater Las Vegas area, they thought they would give the second trip a try to see if they could catch more than their last trip.

We ended up with 51 and had a great time. They are a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing them again .

Er' Real and Vaunda from Florida were out this morning.

They came to Las Vegas to celebrate a Birthday and Masters Graduation.

After driving around in the desert in the dark for a few minutes this morning they found the launch ramp and we headed off to fish.

We caught 16 on lures first thing and went to see if we could find some bait to catch.

We caught some and a frieng was nice enough to pass sime over and we ended up with 76 fish before the ladies called it a day.

It was "Real" pleasant day and I hope they will come again in the future.
