Las Vegas Pupfish Underwater Hockey

Practice every Thursday evening 6:30-7:45pm at Whitney Ranch indoor pool. We have the gear, you just need a swimsuit (and a towel for the shower afterward). Everything else we provide, including fun, good work out and discovering unique abilities!

Next Friday we will have practice for Las Vegas Pupfish Underwater Hockey from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Desert Breeze Aquatic Center at 8275 Spring Mountain Road. Gear is available for beginners, if you have snorkeling gear that fits bring it. Please leave a message if you plan to attend.

We in Las Vegas hope to be working with the USOA to establish an annual tournament here where the planes meet, probably in the Spring when the weather is best. We have the facilities available, cheap flights, and are working to build a good home team worthy of the competition.

Another stumble: Last week the pool failed to let us know the facility would be closed because of a community Halloween party at the community center next door... OK, no practice. Tonight the pool was dark when we arrived... There was early voting going on at the community center and the judicial candidates we met outside told us that this was Nevada Day, a state holiday and that all county workers had the day off.
