Sometimes they’ll come up with the most random things in the middle of explanation. You have to take a deep breath! And keep your poker face!
Teaching the kids is my passion! After being an elementary science teacher for more than 10 years, I chose the mats as my classroom. Now I can get to enjoy the best of both of my passions!

Last week of classes at KALA BJJ in Cedar City location, and you’d think it would feel sad 😢
But honestly?
It feels like laughter.
Like music playing in the background.
Like kids running around the mats and not wanting to leave.
Like staying after class just a little longer…
We’re not rushing this.
We’re not skipping through it.
We’re living it.💪🏽❤️
Every roll, every hug, every moment, we’re soaking it all in.
Because this place, these people, this energy. Our students is who make our day, every single day.
It was never just about a business, or just training…
It’s been about connection.
About growth.
About building something real with all of you. Becoming champions together.
So this week, you’ll see us smiling more.
Laughing louder.
Holding on a little tighter.
Not because it’s ending…
