Some days feel heavier than others. I miss the noise of the mats, the routines we built together, the kids’ laughter, the grind of everyday training, and the feeling of walking into a place that felt like home.
It’s not just the gym I miss, it’s the life we created inside of it. The consistency, the discipline, the community… all the little moments that made it special without us even realizing it at the time.
Then I receive these messages, and it stopped me.
It reminded me that what we built wasn’t temporary. It didn’t disappear. It lives on in every student, every family, and every lesson that stayed with them beyond the mats.
In a moment when I’ve been missing everything deeply, these words brought comfort, strength, and purpose back into my heart. They reminded me why we started, and why we cannot give up.
We may be in a pause, but at the end. One day, when we reopen in Las Vegas, it will carry even more meaning than before. Stronger, wiser, and even more connected than ever.
