New signing Announcement!
SD swells is pleased to announce the signing of born Aussie now American, Charlie Jones - Lock / Ho**er / Half back.

Jones is an all rounded versatile player who packs over 20 years of Rugby League experience. Jones has played around the world and in most of the key positions on the RL field.

As a rookie growing up in Australia, Charlie played for the Australian Institute of Sport, Toyota Cup for the Brisbane Broncos, GoldCoast Titans, and also captained Thailand in their first ever international. He then finished his career in Australia with premierships with the East Tigers and Burleigh Bears.

Charlie moved over to America where he went on to play for the Jacksonville Axemen and also represented the USA in the WorldCup Nines and World Cup qualifiers.

Jones is super passionate about growing Rugby League in America. He will bring leadership and versatility to the team. We are excited to welcome Charlie Jones to the San Diego Swells.

He's proven himself dominant in Rugby Union for Bath, Montpellier XIII, USA rugby League, and even made an appearance with Super Bowl winning New England Patriots!
