These amazing boys played up in 15βs where they took second to a very good 15u team from Canada. Hold your heads high boys! You never quit and fought hard every inning of every game until the very end. Congrats on another great Viper baseball weekend πͺ π βΎοΈ
Vegas Vipers 14u fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-3 loss to GBG Ventura County 14U on Sunday. GBG Ventura County 14U scored on a double in the first inning, a single in the first inning, a single in the first inning, and a double in the second inning.
Henry Prindl led things off on the mound for Vegas Vipers 14u. He lasted two innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out four and walking one. Luke Hughes threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Drake Kajioka and Ty Brown all had one hit to lead Vegas Vipers 14u.
Vegas Vipers 14u wins contest against SLU 14U Red, 4-2
Vegas Vipers 14u fired up the offense in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Vegas Vipers 14u.
Tanner Johns got the start for Vegas Vipers 14u. He surrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out six and walking one.
Colton Boardman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Vegas Vipers 14u in hits.
Onto the semi final.
Vegas Vipers went 4-0 in pool play in the 29th Annual Desert Fall Classic. The boys gave up only four runs while scoring 33 taking the 2 seed heading into bracket play today. Game time at 10:15am on this windy Vegas day βΎοΈ π¨

Ketch Mills shut down LVW 13U, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Vegas Vipers 14u to a 9-0 victory on Sunday
Vegas Vipers 14u secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fifth inning. Vegas Vipers 14u big bats were led by Luke Hughes, Colton Boardman, Michael Gibson, Drake Kajioka, and Tanner Johns, all driving in runs in the inning.
Vegas Vipers 14u opened up scoring in the first inning. Gibson grounded out, scoring one run.
Vegas Vipers 14u tallied six runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Hughes, Boardman, Gibson, and Kajioka and by Johns.
One bright spot for LVW 13U was a double by Brayan Sanchez in the second inning.
Mills led things off on the hill for Vegas Vipers 14u. He allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out four.
Kanoa Wolfgang led things off on the mound for LVW 13U. He went five innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out two.
Vegas Vipers 14u collected nine hits. Hughes and Kajioka all managed multiple hits for Vegas Vipers 14u. Kajioka and Hughes each managed two hits to lead Vegas Vipers 14u. Vegas Vipers 14u didn't commit a single error in the field. Henry Prindl had the most chances in the field with eight.
