I specialize in teaching preschool through intermediate piano students. Online and in person lessons. I specialize in fun!

My performance and educational experience has given me the tools to teach proper technique and performance. I teach beginning to intermediate piano students who are ready to advance their training! I am passionate about giving students a love for playing.

Most parents think music is “extra.”
Something nice if you have time.

A hobby if your child shows talent.

But neuroscience says otherwise: music is not enrichment. It’s brain engineering.

Just one year of lessons can boost a child’s IQ by 7 points. That’s the same leap as moving from average to gifted. And it doesn’t stop at test scores.

Here’s what happens inside the brain:

The prefrontal cortex (focus and self-control) strengthens with every practice session.

The corpus callosum, the bridge between left and right brain, thickens, building faster communication across hemispheres.

Neural pathways for rhythm wire directly into language processing, improving reading and speech.

Dr. Glenn Schellenberg’s research proves it: music rewires architecture in ways tutoring never can.

Think of it this way: tutoring fills a bookshelf. Music builds the library.

That’s why musical kids often read better, solve problems more creatively, and adapt faster.

It’s not about talent. It’s about training the brain to think flexibly and focus deeply.

The best part? You don’t need a grand piano or years of conservatory training.

Lullabies, clapping games, family sing-alongs. All of these spark the same brain-boosting effects.

Music isn’t decoration for learning. It is learning. Joyful, powerful, and permanent.

The instrument in your home isn’t gathering dust. It’s gathering potential.
